  • Contemporary food with our own twist. Our menu is un-pretentious, with delicious, wholesome food made with care.

  • snoek and sweet potato cake with moskonfyt
  • baked pineapple and ginger pudding
  • warm choc-pot - (sweet wine, coconut cream and chocolate) with vanilla shortbreads sandwiched with soft caramel
  • confit hake with a dark, mushroomy hazelnut sauce and beetroot risotto
  • ostrich bobotie parcel - home-made banana conserve, coconut sprinkles, avocado
  • lucky bean “Portuguese steak” - rump with red wine & onion gravy, a gremolata of lemon zest, parsley, garlic & onion, fat chips & a soft, poached egg
  • lamb shank slow cooked in white wine and herbs and served with braised onions and spiced pumpkin cakes
  • + white bean, mushroom & home-made tahini burger - vegan - roasted beetroot & seasonal fruit topping, home-made chutney, sesame seeds - on toasted rye
  • warm winter aubergine salad - a Provencal style vegetable salad, recreated to be served warm for winter in Gauteng, with aubergine, spinach, pecan nuts, rosa tomatoes, tahina and lime
